So I just purchased a 2000 dollar card the Radeon R9 295X2 and I think it is busted. I have had it for a few months and I am getting a blue screen error 0xa0000001. I know my PSU is enough since I don't use any fancy extras. Just your standard 3 hard drive setup with a noctua CPU cooler. I am using an 850 wat corsair professional series PSU. I don't really know what is causing this problem, but I think it is my GPU. I haven't tested my ram yet. The BSOD probably happens once every 3-4 days, and it can also happen when the computer is idle.

Things I have done. I have re-installed windows, installed 14.4 drivers and I still get the blue screen. I will try add new ram sticks in, but I am not sure if that is the problem. I think it is the card itself. Everyone says my PSU is more than enough for this card. I am very angry at AMD. Thank you for reading everyone. Take care!

What is your cpu? And are you overclocking anything?

Hello Mciahel. I am using an i7-4770k at stock. It was overclocked slightly, but I went into my gigabyte bios and set everything to default. Thank you for your reply.

My temperatures are also perfect. When I game at full load my GPU doesn't even reach 70 degrees C. Games such as Battlefield 4, Crysis 3 don't even seem a problem on my card since I game at 1080p. I am looking to upgrade my monitor to 4k res soon. That is why I got such a powerful card.

Could ram be a culprit? Should I add new sticks in? I am not very smart when it comes to computers.

I ran windows memory diagnostic tool and it found no errors. I am thinking it is my GPU. Would love some assistance please. Thank you!

Anyone know how to use Furmark? I have never used it before. Could that tell me weather my GPU is faulty? Is it safe to use and will I still be able to RMA the card? Thank you!
