Hey guys, I've been reading a lot on here but have never have an account. Well anyways today I've finally finished buying all of the parts needed for my first build (at least I hope lol). It's been a year long journey; which includes deep research, strong desire, love of customization, and actually growing the balls to go through with it and finally they are purchased.

I would love if you guys would grade my build and tweak any if you see fit. It's all based on what's affordable, powerful enough for my needs, and open for later tweaking. Also my goal was $1000.

My parts goes as follows:
Case: Nzxt H440
CPU: AMD fx-6300
GPU: GTX 770 2gb (ASUS
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme 4 AM3+
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2x2GB)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
PSU: EVGA 500 B 80 Plus Bronze
Monitor: Acer G6 G246HLAbd 24" 5ms

Thanks for the tip. I found a R9 290 for $299 but chose to stay clear from it because I kept hearing about how hot the GPU got. I just couldn't take the chance of spending the kind of money on my build and it potentially frying. As far as CPU/GPU combo, yeah I know about the mix n match you chose. My initial plan was to get an mid range cpu and go more heavy on the GPU.

I forgot to mention I was going to SLI in the next year. Do you feel my case is well suited for it. I know that I will need a new PSU with at least 850watts to be safe.

h440 is good enough for SLI, the problem is, you picked fx 6300 that is too weak for even single gtx 770. how come you will SLI later?

you can use this template
