I recently bought a new graphics card but it does not work, there is no signal from it. Here is the summary of my problem:

1. My new graphics card is RADEON R7260X

2.My motherboard is msi h61ma-e35

3. My PC works fine with my old graphics card.

4.The new graphics card needs external power supply, and I have plugged the the 6 pin connector to the new graphics card.

5. The minimum power requirement of the new card is 500W, and my PSU is 700W

6. I have brought the new graphics card to where I bought it for checking, and proved that the new graphics card is not defective.

7. When my PC is successfully booted, there is always a beep sound, but there is no beep sound when I try to boot my PC with my new graphics card.

(I know this is a frequently asked question on this forum, and I have read many of the related threads but I still cannot find a solution.Thank you for spending time reading this thread.)

Same problem here :) I have a post about this too, have yet to find a solution after all :(
Do you have on-board graphics?
If so try go to the BIOS and disable it or something (I have no idea I just heard about it but wouldn't work for me because I don't have on-board graphics).

My problem is that there is no signal from the PC (nothing is shown on the screen) after I installed my new card, and I am pretty sure that I have put the cable in the right port.

So I should install the driver first, and then install my new graphics card?

Hey guys, I have just solved the problem by updating the BIOS!

To whoever reading this for solution:
Updating BIOS is quite risky, so please google the precautions of updating BIOS before you do this. If you really don't know what you are doing, ask/pay an expert to do this for you.
