I want to buy a new GPU , put 8gb ram instead of 4 , and buy a new source. Will this increase my fps in games like Skyrim , Wolfenstein ? I have a pretty old Celeron procesor , and i dont know if any of the new GPUs work together with this . Also , my motherboard is pretty old , an ASRock i dont know exactly the type .The whole reason i change my GPU is because it has overheating problems and so does my source ,
Do you have any suggestions for me that will fit my needs?

1 Week after update : Hello there . I came back to announce you . I did something that i think i will regret . I am not the one who has the funds for the parts , so my dad decides which is better. We went to a PC Service in my town and they recommended us a GTX650 and Thinkcard 700W Source . About the rams though , my motherboard being so old it ran only DDR2 , we couldn't get it higher than 4GB .
Now the thing is , there's not a really huge difference from the old GTS 450 , even though i think GTX650 is a pretty beast GPU . My fps in game like LoL is exactly the same . Now though , what is worth mentioning , the last one ran at 85 degrees while not very forced , this one is 36 degrees even with my hdmi connected , with FULL HD movies . The gpu is pretty beast , but the important question is :
Will i have any problem ? Like is my system going to collapse somehow due to the performance difference between my GPU and my rest of the system ? .

More about : buy gpu put 8gb ram buy source

on a old celeron system increasing ram and gpu will be a lost in money and you wont get more perf then now your better get a similar gpu that your system could handle without been bootneck by the cpu and other parts in the system .

need your CPU model and you actual GPU model to see what we can do.

this CPU look likes he could handle a R7 250X which is something like 99$ but not too much more. it would be a improvement in gaming but all your systems would need to get a refresh in order to get a real performance boost

Thank you anyway ! We'll see , maybe i'll manage to get this one or i will actually buy a new CPU too , . I'll reply you somewhere next week .

First, NO nothing will collapse ! but a GTX 650 is still considered being an entry level GPU. a 650 TI boost would have been a mid range GPU though. and since this is an older gen card I hope you got it reduced. because for the same price, you could have got this card big brother : GTX 750 TI.

So if you are wondering why you notice little to no difference, its because you traded an entry level GPU for another. of course this 650 will get you farther but maybe quality in LOL auto-adjusted so you dont see difference is FPS but in details ? also it is possible to lock fps in league so check this out.

Ok i got it . Now , do you think i can get more out of the video card if i change the motherboard , the processor and add more ram ? Can you suggest me some of these in like 250euro around , all 3 together ?
Also , i saw on the manual that the card has a software in which you can over clock the gpu , do you think that will raise my fps ?

You would not get something noticeable by changing your CPU motherboard and RAM, But it would allow you to upgrade GPU someday. So not much FPS increase and since this is a forum and that there is plenty of intel and AMD fans, i will offer 2 solutions. one for each ...:

AMD build : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PwGLFT 275 $(US)
CPU : FX-6350
Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P
RAM : Kingstom blu series 2X4 GB

Intel build : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sNQTmG 261 $(US)
CPU : Intel I3 4130
Motherboard : MSI Z87-G41
RAM : Kingstom blu series 2X4 GB

those two builds are comparable and upgradable for better CPU/GPU
