I have two computers with the same motherboard, the same processor, the same powersupply but with different OS.

I ran an Index scoring on both however, The processor score differs so much even though they are the same.

One processor runs on Windows 8 32-bit and scored my processor nearly at 6.

The other processor runs on Windows 7 64-bit but scored only at 3.9.

Does the operating system scores differently?

I also forgot to mention, Both have the same RAM ddr3 1333 and also has different scoring. The other scored 5.5 on Windows 8 32-bit and the other scored 4.7 on Windows 7 64-bit.

I don't want to name my specs since I would be ashamed for low-end specs. hehe. Respect my post please? :)

the index scores are pretty useless in my opinion. It doesn't really fully determine the performance of every application. The windows 7 index score is based off the lowest number, and usually that'd be the hard drive as far as I'm aware, maybe some systems would have other parts, i don't really know.

Thanks for the opinion though. However, I can see a very tiny difference in performance. I played APB: Reloaded and the performance with Windows 7 64-bit seems to have a battle neck compared to the Windows 8 32-bit. I do not have the same Video Card on each. But I tried swapping them and same result shows on Windows 7 64-bit. And I'm pretty sure both my cards can run the game smoothly even with only 1GB DDR5 128-bit(Sorry, I'm still not comfortable giving out the brand.. hehe).

Well, both actually shows the lowest number of score however, it still bothers me why the Windows 7 64-bit gives me a very low score compared to the Windows 8 32-bit.

Mostly have the same specs except for Video cards and OS. My lowest score on Windows 8 32-bit is 5.5 which is my RAM. But my Windows 7 64-bit gives me the lowest score of 3.9 which is my processor. :(
