Your system configuration would help. What hardware are you running?
Is your version of Windows up to date?
What drivers did you install for your video card?
Are you actually able to run any apps or games that use DirectX?

If things are working as they should, then you may be looking at a wrong screen or selected a wrong item. More info will help us to narrow it down.

Well, I got this computer from my dad a few years ago, maybe when I was 8, and I'm about 13 now..
I don't know much about this but I was running DXDIAG for the info that I have..
I don't know much about it
And no, I can't run any games, and that's why I'm asking about this :/

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-system...

Follow these instructions.

Once done, you will have the configuration window open. You can check the device manager for the hardware, and you can run a system assessment. The Windows Experience Index isnt great, but it can provide you with a list of components and test them. The device manager is better though.

Ok, so your video card is an nVidia GeForce GT 610.

Have you recently re-installed windows? What about installing up to date video drivers?

Go here to get the latest version of your video drivers: http://www.geforce.com/drivers

There is a link to even auto detect what you have, I would go with that to make it easy.

Three days ago, I reset my computer back to factory settings because of errors/ads/and it was slow.
Everytime I download Java for the auto detect,
it makes me download it again and again..
So, I can't really do the auto detect..
And I tried to get something on NVIDIA and it said
"This NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows.
This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware."
I uninstalled the Java thing I had, and it worked..

What Java thing? And does this mean you are now able to use the graphics as intended?

Im not sure if you are talking about the Java framework from Oracle, or not. And not sure if you are running 32 or 64bit version of windows, which may be part of the problem.

I was talking about the Java framework from Oracle..
And it works now, all I needed to do was download and install everything from the "Automatic Driver Updates" on NVIDIA
Thank you so much for your help! :)
