Hello,

I soon had my CMOS battery replaced to a new one at the beginning everything was fine and working like a charm, but after 1 mothn the same thing started happen. Pc is build at about 5 moths ago and i had 1st CMOS Battery replaced almost 1 month ago. When i use sync it show an error to sync time and display's: Time was sync to 1/1/1900.

My build is:

Intel Core i7-4770k
GA-Z87X-D3H
Corsair H100i
KINGSTON BEAST 2X4GB 1600MHZ
120GB SSD SAMSUNG EVO
1TB WD 7200 CAVIAR BLUE
EVGA GTX 760 4GB FTW AC/x Cooler
Seasonic 750W

Any help i would appreciate.

Batteries lose their power over time, even while not used. It could be that this one was stored for several years before it got sold.

Use a voltmeter to measure its voltage - or just skip this step and buy another one, from a different vendor / store. They are really not that expensive after all ;)

Yes i know there are cheap enough. i read in an other forum that it might be RCT Crystall problem. Is it possible? How can i be sure that is and RCT problem or its not?

Check that your CMOS jumper is in place or removed as required by your motherboard.
Usually there is CMOS jumper and it could have fallen off or something could be shorting out the jumper pins (check underside of the motherboard too)

No way to be sure but to replace the battery again. The easiest test. If this (3rd in a row!) fails quickly, it *could* be RTC. But still, the best way to know whether or not the batteries are faulty is to measure them with voltmeter. And as the man above suggested... get a quality brand.

Just wait for the outcome of this first before going at it yourself again.
