Is my motherboard compatible with Radeon R9 270X?

I'm slightly worried that my mobo is too old for that card. It's an Asus M3NH/HDMI

I have enough RAM and power for the card, and the board also has a correct PCIe slot.

Yes the PCI-E slot is fine. PCI-E 3.0 graphics cards are backwards compatible. Some may say that the PCI-E 3.0 will give you better performance in game but that is not the case with most graphics cards. PCI-E bandwidth is, more or less, there is to use for different expansion cards that the Chipset and CPU will have available for things like sound cards, raid cards...
