DDNS setup in DVR

Solution
Can you connect to the DVR using the IP address of your router directly. You likely have to have port forwarding setup correctly on your router. h.246 is a data compression protocol there is likely another control protocol being run that also needs to be allowed. Your DVR should discuss this.

If you can connect via the IP then your router must support dyndns directly. It is unlikely the DVR itself can run the process to update the dydns when the ip changes.
