First post here and thanks for the help. I've searched for the same problem and can't seem to find the same problem anywhere I've looked.

I recently did a self build desktop that will be used strickly for day trading stocks.

CPU- Intel I-5 4690
MB- Asus Z97-A
GPU- Visiontek HD 7750 (6 DP)
SSD- Samsung 840 Pro
MEMORY- 16 Gb G.Skill Ripjaws X series
Power- Antec Platinum EA-650

I got everything hooked up and Windows installed fine- downloaded the drivers from AMD and got them installed with no problem. Hooked up 2 asus 27 inch monitors by DP, 2 Lg by HDMI with an active accell adapter, and 1 Hp (while I wait to free up another HDMI CORD) with the passive adapter that came in the box.

All fired up no problem- however when I go in to adjust the window configuration, or placement of each extended display, and hit apply, they auto go back to the default setup of 5x1. I am trying to setup a 2x2 setup on stands with the 5 being by itself. I've tried disconnecting the passive adapter but the same result occurred. It also does this in the catalyst setup.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks- Josh

Update- Partial fix- I spent about 6 hours last night after I got home from work trying to fix the problem- I switched ports, adapters, etc. I then accidently changed one screen resolution to 1000P and let me save the configuration after that. It doesn't matter which display is in the 1000P, as long as 1 is. I made the screen off to the left of the 2x2 the 1000P since it is not used to watch the market with charts and other market items.

Just got off the phone with Visiontek Support- They said the only thing they can think of is that the screen configuration I am trying to set up may not be an accepted configuration. They said if I would add another monitor to the setup, making it a 3x2 or 2x3, it should work fine as they know that is an acceptable one. They said I should contact AMD and see if they know of any fixes to the problem.

Its extremely annoying that they fail to mention this in the Specs of the products, but I guess you get what you pay for- Sub $250 for a single card that can drive 6 monitors by itself.

The person that helped Spec the system out for me suggested using one of the onboard video outs on the Asus MB for the monitor off to the side and then setting the GPU up with a 2x2 configuration- Any thoughts on if this should work? Also, would it decrease any performance of the system?
