hey guys,
i'm changing my old b75 intel motherboard to asus z77 one for overclocking my cpu to 4.5 ghz.
my old mobo just couldn't let me to do that. i have plugged in a r9 270x gfx card with it and using a 128 gigs ssd as c drive... i have heard of a lots of probs caused by just changing the mobo.
I have a windows 8.1 OEM , so i'm not worried if i had to format my pc.
but last time i just unplugged my amd gpu , a big prob occurred , even formatting c drive did solve nothing. may have caused by registration of hardwares.
so just asking what to do before unplugging and changing my mobo for a hassle free upgrade.
should i just uninstall al motherboard and graphics card drivers?
and one question , i am looking for a upgrade from my current gpu. i have only 200$ budget for gpu. so should i sell my current one and get a r9 280x or just buy an another r9 270x and put it on crossfire to get more performance.

since they are close enough chipsets you should be able to just uninstall the motherboard drivers and swap everything over. But if I were me doing it I would just do a fresh install just to keep any little problems from forming.

2 R9 270x is definitely better than 1 R9 280x. And there is no problem while doing the swap.

the links you provided were very helpful.
do you think 2 r9 270x will help me to keep up at least 2years at 1080p ultra settings?
i have heard that 2xr9 270x are more powerful than a single r9 290x .. is that true?
if it is then i'm surely doing the crossfire-x.
i have a cooler master 600 watt psu. which won't be able to power both of the cards..
so please suggest me a good and cheap power supply.

Yes it is true R9 270x crossfired give much more performance. But people usually prefer a single GPU because people get mad while setting up the crossfire. And sometimes even result in flicks.
But once it is on, it is a great set. And as for the future proofness, It depends on the GPU makers. But as per the roadmap of amd & nvidia, I guess you will be able to play games at 1080p ultra for 2 years
(not all : [even today you can't play watch dogs at full settings with 50+fps without a titan card]).
.
So, and yes graphics card driver(specially AMD) looses stability on a mobo and cpu change. So you may have to completely reinstall your driver using DDU, etc.

when it comes down to it always better get the fastest single card you can. Even to this day every once in a while games have issues with sli or CFX and you will be stuck with one card.

While I have older 580's that still do well in everything I play, I ran into issues playing The elder scrolls online and was only able to run 1 and suffered from it. Some games are not optimized for sli/cfx when released and fixed later. So while 2 270x are faster then a single 290x when you run into issues you will be kicking yourself that you didn't go with a single card.

then i'd be going for r9 280x.. but i ran watch dogs at ultra prest without any lag with my r9 270x overclocked
