Suddenly a strong new hotspot is showing up in the back of our house. Thought the neighbor had a new router, so to figure out whose it was I used the WiFi analyzer app on my phone. Turns out our new Samsung smart TV is the source. TV has a wired Internet connection. This new hotspot is open, with no security. While I can connect to it, it has no Internet access, so the TV isn't acting as a router - so far. Is there anyway to set this up? Seems a waste not to be able to use this very strong signal. Cannot find anywhere in the settings to configure this.

Tell your neighbor that his TV is wide open and show him/her how to secure it. If the settings that you have been trying to configure are on the neighbor's TV, stop configuring it. If you are in the US, this is against more than one law.
