First description of the problem:
Was making an image of a HDD with a lost partition, but half way the program crashed, image was saved but only half of the amount of the original HDD according to the data. HDD was 459GB, image after crash was 260GB (uncompressed).

When I attempted to recover partition and all files from the image, after restoring partition, HDD recovery program showed that all 459GB were available for recovery, but when it searched through the partition it identified some files as RAW while rest were NTFS (restored partition)

My question is, did the program identify some files as RAW because HDD wasnt fully cloned?
If so, then can I create an image of 2nd half of the HDD (EaseUS lets me do that) and have all files recovered as part of the NTFS partition? or it doesnt matter as long as the full partition was recovered from the first image of only half of the HDD?

Yea, I probably will eventually, but I think it may crash again and its 17 hours long. Recovery program Im using crashes in another spot of the process too, so I have doubts that full image can be created without a crash.
