Hello, this is my first tiime building a custom pc. here are the specs

i7-3770 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz LGA 1155 Quad-Core Processor
ASUS B75M-PLUS LGA 1155 Motherboard,
Western Digital 500GB SATA 6Gb/s Hard drive,
4Gb 1600Mhz Ram(ddr3)
SAMSUNG DVD R/W DRIVE
COOLER MASTER RC-K380,
COOLER MASTER ELITE 500W Power supply
INTEL Graphics HD 4000
HDMI
GIGABIT ETHERNET
USB 3.0

I have installed the os(windows 7 home basic, 32bit) but when i tried to use the internet it, wouldn't connect. At first i thought it was my mobo's wireless, so i connected my lan cable but it still won't connect. I have installed both the lan and wan drivers,(I think they are the right ones, the lan is from intel and the wan is from realtek)

Any advice?

Wait never mind guys, i was installing the drivers from the internet but it turns out the drivers were all on a disk that came with the mobo. hadn't seen the disk before because it was hidden underneath some packaging, and didn't know that mobos come with disks like that so I didn't look for one. everything is working fine now, sorry for wasting time but appreciate the help none the less.
