I’ve used online guides to attempt to fix this odd issue obviously nothing has worked. This is my last resort so I’m providing has much information has possible hoping you guys can really help me resolve this. Anyway, here’s my story.
My desktop is a custom built computer. This is what my computer is made up of:
· AMD FX-8150 8-Core Black Edition Processor Socket AM3+ FD8150FRGUBOX
· ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
· Kingston Technology HyperX Blu 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM (Kit of 2) KHX1333C9D3B1K2/8G</SPAN>

· Windows 7 Professional
About two days ago I was working online, and my full version of AVG did an automatic scan, It slowed everything down which was odd since I never had an issue before. I decided to stop the scan. The moment I did that all my web pages stopped working and my amazon music player provided an error message stating “not connected to the internet” which made no sense since my computer IS connected with no issues to my ASUS modem (I do have a wireless connection and unable to run a line to the router)
The weirdest thing is, when I go on Mozilla and attempt to open a page, it doesn’t provide me an error message or anything, the tab just won’t load, and the page remains blank
Since this issue I’ve attempted the following and nothing has worked:
· resetting the cable modem (my laptop, smart phone and tablet have NO issues with the internet just my desktop)
· resetting the internet options (LAN and proxy in Mozilla)
· reset the IP address
· TDSKiller Virus scan
· Mailwarebytes Anti-malware scan
· Full AVG scan
I even ran all my virus scans in “safe mode” a few issues appeared but the programs got rid of them. I know this because I followed up the original scans to make sure and no other results showed.
Anyway, nothing has resolved the issue. I have no idea what to do now..
Please, I’m begging for help..

No I haven't I will try that right now.
How would l find my wireless driver?
My Microsoft firewall is already disabled. Should I attempt to turn that on after uninstalling avg?

I had the same problem but I had it a very long time ago and I can't remember how I fixed it but I think it has something to do with firefox settings
or the proxy settings, something like that but if you reinstalled windows, I think it will resolve this specific problem.
