So my pc restarts when i play games can be at random point after 1second or after 8 hours.
Specs:
GPU: Corsair HX 850W PSU
CPU: AMD FM2 Athlon X4 760k Black Edition
VGA: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670k
Ram: 8GB
OS: W7 64-bit

I have tried to turn off the automatic restart if system failure, didnt work
Changing PSU cable, didnt work
I have order new thermal paste.

So is there something else i can do other than changing thermal paste? Answers and suggestion are highly appreciated!

EDIT: My pc is also half a year old selfbuild, problem started a week ago.

Solution
right so first he should remove paste. than reapply some and reinstall cooler to see if it fixes issues before he buys a new coolar

They way you use ?! doesnt seem good, but yes.

Yeah, your CPU is frying. You must have the Cooler installed incorrectly. This is your problem. Iceclock must not have seen the CPU temps. Your idle temp for it should be between 30-40c. It hitting 70c at the desktop is a big issue. It should not even hit that under load.

Do you think taking away the old thremal paste and addning new will work? Or do i need a new fan, its the stock

The stock fan should be fine. You must have installed is wrong or something. I would completely remove the paste and then apply it CORRECTLY using the pea method. MAke sure the cooler is properly fastened down and that the fan is spinning. (connected to the CPU_FAN header). I would not use the computer until you can sort out the issue to avoid CPU/ motherboard damage.
