I have a product key and license for windows vista home premium. If i bought this..

...could i use the same license and product key for a 64 bit installation? I have the 32 bit version now. I read that it could work if i uninstalled one and then installed the new one. if thats correct then how would i do that? How would i uninstall the current windows and then boot from a new system on a dvd

It may work, it does not say if that is an OEM version or a Retail version of the program. An OEM key won't work with a Retail disk and vice verse.
You can look online for a downloadable ISO of Vista also without needing to pay for a copy.
