I brought a refurbished GTX 570 for $110 seven months ago and I am wondering what's a good upgrade for $200? I'll be giving the GTX 570 to my friend.

Please don't recommend the GTX 750 Ti because I know it's noticeably slower. I want an upgrade; not a downgrade.

Solution
Hopefully you haven't given it away yet, because you aren't going to get anything faster for $200. The only thing you're going to get for $200 is a GTX660 or r9 270x and both are slower than a 570.

$200 is a little bit low, 250-300 would be a sweet spot if you want to upgrade from a GTX 570. you can get an R9 280x for under 300, or an r9 280 for under 250, both of which are better cards than your GTX 570.

the GTX 760 is also a better card, or you could get the GTX 770 for a bit over 300. your choice, really.

Aw. Bummer. I was hoping for something better at $200 since the GTX 570 is 2 generations old already. Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, I don't have the extra cash right now due to my monthly bills so I'm limited to $200; otherwise, I would've gone a little higher on my budget.

I wouldn't consider even a GTX760 or r9 280 at $250 a worthwhile upgrade to a 570. Don't be bummed, you got a killer deal on a 570. I'm in a similar position. I paid $185 for my GTX660 new a year ago. $200 still gets me no upgrade at all and $250 still wouldn't get me enough to be worth the trouble.
