Sorry if this is not the right place to put this, I'm new and unfamiliar. I have a 500 dollar budget, and looking to build a pc. Could I do one for 500 that can run games at medium settings? I already have the mouse, keyboard, monitor, and OS. All I need is the computer. Would this be possible? I will upgrade it better over time, but is 500 enough to get me started with something decent? Thanks

Thanks! I'm probably going to go with something like this. Also, would an AMD CPU be ok? I saw a AMD quad core CPU and I was wondering if Intel is better

The FX 6300 is a good alternative to a budget Intel build, however If you aren't into overclock then I would say stick with the Intel setup. Overclocking the FX 6300 yields some good results... The "quad core" AMD processors (FX 4xxx series) do not show nearly the performance as the i3 / FX 6300 and I would suggest to stay away.
