My previous GPU in this pre-built PC went down, so I'm looking for an upgrade of sorts

Context: I don't have any experience with building a PC. I'm not too tech savvy, but I know some basics.
I recently had issues with a pre-built PC(Link) and took this PC to a local tech support company. They figured out a couple issues, but the main issue is that the video card hit its demise and they changed me to integrated graphics until we could afford a replacement and have them install a new one for free.

More than a month has passed, and I'm looking for a replacement now. They recommended this card(but said that it wasn't ideal, their other choice was sold out), before it even went on sale. The sale is extremely tempting to go for(price/performance is pretty good), but I'm wanting to possibly get something with better performance before ordering.

That is actually a great price for a 7850 (R9 270) Cheapest I can find is about $140 for an R9 270. R9 270 is a slightly newer revision of the same card. Still a $30 rebate, so it is really $150. (Actually same is true of the R9 270 from newegg:

Still, not a bad price.

Hello,

I would recommend this nVidia Geforce GTX750ti - It's a great performing and cost effective card. Make sure your power supply has 1x 6pin connector to power the card though (It looks like it does from online images)

I would recommend the Gigabyte Manufactured Card, it's cool and quiet with a great cooling solution.

Gigabyte Card - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gigabyte-Video-Card-GV-N75TOC-2GI-GTX750Ti-2GB-DDR5-OC-128Bit-PCI-E-/321363320345?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item4ad2bf1e19

The Card will be miles faster than the GT530 and you will not have to play in Windowed Mode ever again!

Hope I Helped,
Thomas.
