Best Memory for £55 (8GB - 2x4GB)

As the title says, What is the best ram for arond £50 quid, I was looking at the Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory and the G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory, Which one is better as they are the same price on newegg.

(Prices will probably be cheapest on new egg)

watch newegg, they seem to ship from the US and they may not have paid taxes, there may be a customs charge before it reaches you. The prices are not what they seem.

they won't even ship 770's to the UK for instance. Have a look at scan, ebuyer or overclockers for a proper uk shop.

If i buy from the Uk new egg site though wont they have the items in the uk?

look at the shipping charges, 'world egg saver...' if you add a postcode it adds the tax, so on a £48.46 set of RAM is adds £11.33 in tax, and £6.95 in shipping totalling £69+ and 4-7days of waiting

it's a nasty little trick than makes newegg pointless in the uk.

watch scan, ebuyer, aria, overclockers each day and jump on an offer (they'll all perform within 2-3% of each other). ebuyer has free shipping which helps, you'll find something in the next week or so.
