I have a GTX 760 in my computer, which is nice for gaming. However I was rendering a cup filling with water for 20 seconds (on blender, my first project) and it took about an hour.

Would it be possible to get an Nvidia Quadro X000 and stick in the second gpu slot,
(note: I stupidly got a MOBO without SLI capabilities, however I dont mean to SLI them).
So I would have 2 GPUs, one for gaming and 1 for 'work'.
Is it possible to change between the 2 GPUs (and have both drivers on PC)

Thanks in advance, PCNOOB

But t to be able to utilise the GPUs they need to be the same with a linked bridge connector if they are not the same the PC will automatically go the single default pcix16 or x1 closest to the CPU so to summarise you can do sli just with identical cards or very very similar
