help please, i have my mpower msi (ATX) mobo, and im a bit confused with installing it into my 750d, cause I've found that in 750d there is a middle "stand off" which helps to get mobo in place for a better contact with AIO shield or whatever it is for..the problem is that i have only 8 stand offs(they were pre applied) and this 9th stand off( in the middle for the ATX screw base). Should I install it only on 8 stand offs and ignore this screw which goes through the mobo?

I've not owned a Corsair 750D to give you an answer from experience, however with the Corsair Carbide Spec-01 I've found that the stand-offs are similar with all Corsair cases. With the Spec-01 and hopefully with the 750D too, certain stand-offs can be removed and moved around; only the one with screws can be unmounted, which you can find by looking at the other side of the case. Certain stand-offs are unfortunately however integrated in with the body of the case. To remove a screw-able stand-off you'll need a small enough spanner/wrench and turn anti-clockwise (you may need to apply some force).

With my Spec-01, one of the mounts go directly through the motherboard and it cannot be screwed in; regardless it is long/strong enough to hold the motherboard without a screw. If this is what you're referring to, the screw/mount which goes directly through the motherboard; you should be fine with 8 screws instead of 9, since the mount going through the motherboard is strong enough to support it.

The screw/mount which goes through the motherboard should be at the bottom on microATX motherboards, and somewhere in the middle of an ATX motherboard.

To put it simply, you should be fine with 8 screws instead of 9.

All the best. :)

It's there to hold the mobo in place, it's good there. Don't have to do anything with it.

The standoffs on the 750D are built can't be moved.
