I am having trouble getting my pc turned on. I have a Bach Thermaltake HTPC with a rosewill RD500-2SB PSU. I have unplugged all connections to mobo and reconnected the 24 pin and 4 pin but still no power. The 2 lights above my Ethernet port light up when I turn the PSU switch on and I can hear the hum of electricity but the power button does not turn it on. Could it be a bad PSU or a bad wiring connection to power button? It worked the last 6 months of having it. Any suggestions?

Start by checking the psu with paperclip test.

Dissconnect the 24pin from the motherboard (leave 4 pin connectord, and hard drive power connecters connected) and take a paperclip and jumper the green wire to any black wires. If the power supply turns on you have a good psu, if it does not, try unpliging item by item, if you have everything unpluged and still the psu does not turn on, you have a bad power supply.
