My build:
CPU: Intel core i7-4790k
GPU: Evga GeForce 780 Ti 3gb video card
PSU: SeaSonic 750w 80+ gold certified fully-modular ATX power supply
Memory: Crucial DDR3 Ballistix Sport 1866MHz 8GB
Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250gb 2.5" Solid state drive
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM internal hard drive.
Case: NZXT Phantom black/orange ATX full tower case

My CPU cooler: Hyper 212 evo
My case fan coolers: Cougar dual X 122mm red led
Are these case fans any good? Also how many do you think I have and where should I place them? Sorry, i'm a complete noob at this xD Thank you for helping if you do :)

The 212 is ok as long as you dont OC, but since you have a K processor and Z97 mobo, it would be pointless not to OC.
As for aftermarket fans for the chassis go for brands like Cooler Master, Corsair, Noctua, Antec, bequiet and so.
That case already comes with a good number of fans, missing only a intake fan for the front.

1. Are the cougar dual x 122mm red led fans any good?
2. How many fans do you think I should have and where should I place them?
3. How good are the NZXT fans that already comes with it? Should I mix them up with the cougar dual x 122mm fans?

1. I have a Cougar Solutions Black Steel case and the stock fans that came with it are pretty good but it really depends on what the price since there is a different best fan at each price level.

2. I am not sure how many front intake fans can be installed but I would only add front intake fans since rest of the fan slots seem to be filled. Install the fan in the front of the case with blade facing in so that the bracket/shield faces outward.

3. I have the NZXT Source 210 and the NZXT stock fans seem good too.

The only fans I have bought is Phanteks 140 mm fan and a 4 pack of Cooler Master 120mm sleeve bearing fans. Both of them were for $5, so my expectations are different from other people's but the stock fans are decent so just collect fans on sale and add to it slowly.
