I got this pc and there were some sucky things in it. So I bought a new mobo, GPU and PSU. The rest was okay. I put everything Inside and checked it all.
Then I clicked the start button it makes the right start up sounds fans start turning but the screen says that there's no connection.

Motherboard: Asus A55BM-A MicroATX
GPU: AMD R6850 Cyclone IGDS Power Edition 1GB GDDR5
PCU: AMD A10 7800k

Thanks in Advance

Ok so your PSU seems pretty good (phew! :)) First off make sure your visual cables are connected to the GPU. If they are, try using a different cable of the same type (e.g. if the original cable is HDMI, try another HDMI cable to see if it's a bad cable). If there's nothing there, try a different cable type (e.g. DVI) to see if that works.

Also, make sure your GPU is seated properly in the motherboard and that all the PCI-E connectors are fully inserted in the correct ports, if you need an 8-pin connector and are using a 6+2-pin connector, make sure the 2 is fully inserted as this can come out easily.

We tried DVI and VGA on 2 monitors. Not yet tried the HDMI one. But if the fan from the GPU work doesn't that mean the 6 pin connector is working?

Not always, I had a similar problem with my 280x recently, one of the 6-pin connectors was loose, fans were running and the little LED on the side was on, but no display. Some power comes directly from the PCI-E lane itself which means that that probably powers (at least partially) the cooling system.

I pulled the 6 pin PCI-E connector out of it and put it back in but still no display.
Another good thing to know is that I'm putting a a DVI-D dual link cable in a DVI-I dual link port. Is this the problem?

Nope, should be fine. Sounds like your card might need an RMA tbh.

Before shipping one of your computer parts to the other side of the world, don't forget to try unplugging all the internal and external devices from your computer one at the time, and try to swap sata cables, removing and reinserting ram.

Basically a return to the manufacturer. you normally have to contact them to say the part isn't working, they'll ask you to send it to them, they'll see how it is, look for issues etc and if it's dead send you a new one as long as the card is in warranty. Do as ircluzar says though before doing an RMA as they can take weeks. Also see if you can try your GPU in someone elses computer

Well I don't think there is a return to manufacturer option with this one. I bought it for 40 Euro's from a friend. Is there anyway to check it myself if it works?

If there's a second PC in the house you could try it in that with your XFX PSU if the one in the other PC is inadequate, other than that ask a friend with a PC you can test it in

Well I've got my own gaming rig to try it in.
I guess a CX600 Corsair is good enough for it.
I'll try it tomorrow and tell you then if I need some more help.
Already thank you for the help you've given.

I've started my pc without the GPU. And Connected it to the screen with the MoBo Connector. But I see there's still no screen. Maybe this is because I haven't installed the drivers of the Mobo yet but normally you'll need a screen to install them so I think that's not the problem. :/
I also tried starting my pc without RAM. It didn't make any Beeping noises without the RAM. This really scares me because maybe my CPU is damaged then. Not sure.

The PC will NOT start without RAM...

Try connecting something else to the monitor, it could be a monitor issue. Make sure you're also on the correct input in the monitors menu interface

But normally the pc POST thing will give a beep morse code doesn't it if there's no RAM applied.
It just started and gave nothing. And I've tried both the new monitor and the monitor of my own pc with VGA and DVI. Nothing works. Just the DVI give check cable signal. The VGA gives nothing.

Ok is the socket on your gaming PC the same as the socket on this PC? If it is, try that CPU in your PC and just see if you can get into the BIOS. If you can, your Asus A55BM-A has probably failed, otherwise your CPU has failed.

Oh and did your 6850 work in your gaming pc?

Haven't been aible to get to my gaming pc yet but I don't think the sockets are the same. I've got an Intel core i5 4670k in my gaming rig. And this one is an AMD A10-7800k so the sockets might be different :/
The thing is that this pc was first a pre made pc and the only good thing was the AMD A10 Processor and I got it out and saw some pins were bent. I think that could've caused this problem. I might need to buy a new AMD one.

Bent pins = dead. If the pins were bent in the packaging then you should be able to get an RMA, but I'm not sure since you put it in a socket after seeing the pins were bent, get in touch with your retailer, then AMD, if the product is under warranty.

It was a pre made Medion PC and since I changed everything except for DVDRW, HDD, CPU and Case. I think they'll just say that it is my own problem now. But they just mashed the CPU in the socket that clear and it came of together with the CPU cooler because it was stuck on the it with the cooler gel. So I couldn't unlock the socket to get it out properly.
