Does cable management effect airflow?

I'm really bad with cable management yet I don't have a windowed case. My cables are all over the place and I really don't feel like fixing it but if I have to I will. I have four cooler master silent fans and a cooler in my case. Will cables effect my temps?

Solution
Well yes, it does, if its literally between both sides of the airflow then it will get in the way and make your cooling inefficient.

Do everything you can to make it as clean as you can. If you have no backplate that you can hide things around then try as much as you can to cable tie and clip them to get them out of the air tunnel that you've created.

And yes, Modular is amazing for helping out with this, plus, you can buy pretty coloured cabling OMFG :D

Cables do indeed affect airflow. Simply going through and zip-tying your cables together instead of letting them spiderweb out all over the place will help the air move through your case.
