More Monitors Less Frames?

Right now I play BF4 at medium with my R7-260x, I want to add two more monitors to my setup and stretch the game across all three. While I know there will be a performance hit I am wondering how large it would be? I can turn the graphics to low (I am more game-play than graphics oriented) but I do want the game to go at a playable FPS.

Thanks so much,
Bgordy

Moving from 1920x1080 to 5760x1080 will be more than the R7-260X can handle with that game. Your framerate will be considerably lower. Probably too low for smooth gameplay at even the lowest settings. Maybe if you ran at something like 1280 across all 3 monitors you could do it.

as you'll be running 3 times the resolution, the performance hit will be significant. I run 3 1050 monitors (about 20% less resolution than 3x1080) with a R9-290 o/c and it hits 50-60fps on ultra (2xMSAA) sometimes dropping to 30fps. BF4 also chews up 3.5GB Vram

Could you help me out with what you mean by that... are you saying I could run it at 1280x1024 or something like that?

For that card to GAME across 3 monitors, the displays would have to be extremely low resolution. The card is not intended to be used in Eyefinity, but I'm guessing maybe 1280x720 might be doable at low settings. Personally, I wouldn't waste my time trying to do it though. If you want to game across 3 displays, get a card that can handle it.
