My build only allows for a single card.
I have the power to push that mars card

Simply put I would like to know how big of a performance boost I am going to see going from a gtx 770 to the mars card.

I really do not know much about newer gen video cards as I have been out of the loop for awhile.

I can sell the gtx 770 right now for 250 leaving me to put up another 250 to get the Mars card is it worth it or not?

More about : gtx 770 asus mars 760x2

I'd say it's worth it, the Mars is slightly faster than the gtx 780.

But, why the mars? A single gtx 780 is just as fast plus it consumes less power and you don't have the headaches of SLI.

Looking that the benchmarks its doesn't seem worth it to up grade to a 780 from a 770 really. Maybe I should just leave it alone.

If your only gaming at 1080P then yes the gtx 770 would be enough.
If you plan to go to 1440P then the gtx 780 or asus mars would be good.
If you plan to go to 1080/1440P NVidia surround then gtx 780 would be best (because the gtx 760s on the mars only have 2GB of vram each, 3GB on the 780 will help to keep good fps at ultra settings without the gpus own vram bottlenecking it).
