Approximate Purchase Date: Month Or TWO

Budget Range: UP TO $2500.00 USD

System Usage from Most to Least Important:
* Gaming( Mostly League of Legends & other game like Diablo 3 @ MAX SETTINGS )
* VMWare Workstation for Botting ( 6-12 VM's maybe more depending on how many i can run at the same time. ( i would also like to use the computer while the VM are botting for me to Play Games, Surf the Web , Watch Movies, Make Music, Etc. )
* Make Beats ( FL Studios 10 / Etc )
*Surf The Web

Are you buying a monitor: Yes. ( just 1 for now then i would like to get 1 or 2 more in the feature so i can have a total of 2-3. )

Parts to Upgrade: Every Thing from Scratch i have a Wood im going to burn to keep me warm in the winter.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes. I was thinking of Windows 7. I never tryed Windows 8 so i dont know much about it... it seems a lil complicated. If 1 is better then the other i would like to know the pros n cons ) Help me choose =(

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: anyplace Reliable / Cheap =) ( i would also do a little searching for the hardware once i decide what i need )

Location: Jacksonville, FL USA

Parts Preferences: I like Intel / nvidia ( Open to others if i can get more out of them but i seem to be a fan of intel. i don't know much about nvidia but i think they r better then the ATI )

Overclocking: No ( i want to use my pc for a while so i don't wanna take the risk of malfunction )

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe ( 2 is better then 1 ) ?

Your Monitor Resolution: Dont know much... something that would look amazing and capture the eyes.

Additional Comments: I want it to look good but i dont need alot of bling bling!! Just something a lil quite, good air flow or what even so it stays cool.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading:
* Playing Games while MY VM's are botting for me.
* I Mainly need it to be for Gaming @ max setting & Botting.
* Sound card isn't really top of my list atm because i can get away with what even come in a normal comp from bestbuy. if anything i would spend some change n get 1 in the feature when im more serious about music.

Ty for taking time out of your schedule to help me out. im really grateful for any help / input / advice.

well i was going to bot for LoL to get Accounts to high levels n use them to farm. i get like 1 day out of the week to play games heavy which is normally only for 4-7 hrs for that day. other then that i play maybe a game or 2 a day ( if that ) so i wanted to get some account going while i work n etc so i can just play high level games rather then taking 4-5 months to reach level 30 ( because of the short time i have to spend on games ). i normaly just end up giving away the account but its kinda of a hobby to. hopefully 1 that can earn me some $$

Okay. I am not familiar for the vm botting. You can look up the requirements but it seems to me that the system will work, but the hard drive space seems to be an issue for running them, I am not well versed.

i think to bot it will demand alot of CPU power, RAM, and GPU. maybe a good 4 or 6 core cpu. last time when i was looking 2-3 years ago i was thinking of sumthing like the i7 990X i think it was.. but i been out of the hardware thing for a while so.... idk if its worth spending 500 for that CPU if theirs something better for the same price or a little more....

i guess i just wanted to see whats the new stuff out... because if i get the i7-990x i feel like it will be useless 2 years from now... im trying 2 get something little feture proof even thos alot of people say theres no such thing lol... im sry if im being a lil confusing or stupid sounding =/

for $2500 you should defiantly go for an i7 and great graphics.

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K >> $340
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646i74790k
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler >> $30
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-r...
Mobo: ASRock Z97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard >> $110
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z97pro4
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400 Memory >> $83
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f32400c11d8g...
Storage:Crucial MX100 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive >> $110
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/crucial-internal-hard-driv...
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 290 4GB WINDFORCE >> $370
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvr929...
Power Supply: SeaSonic M12II 850W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular >>$120
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-ss85...
Optic Drive: Pioneer BDC-207DBK Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer >> $43
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/pioneer-optical-drive-bdc2...

Total:$1200 so far

So you have to decide what OS you want, case, monitor. you could also add a HDD 1T

Case: I think its personal and you should have a look and what you like, same with the monitor

How does this build look? think its a good build that will last about 4-5+ Years? i still need a CUP / System Cooler.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9FCddC

BTW.... would all of this work 2gather w/o bottlenecking? & if you think theres a better build you can do for 1800 post it n ill see what works better....

only thing im worried about with this build is does it have the potential to be upgraded 4-5 years fro now or will this mobo be useless?

good to run games on max settings like diablo 3 n LoL maybe even a few racing / FPS games?
Running 12-24 Virtual Machines that will be used to farm LoL , Diablo 3 n Others?
How would this setup be for a amature / profecinal Musician? using stuff like FL 10, Mics an recording.
maybe even OC a lil for better performance if im unsatisfied with the build?

Ty for looking and any input / help from you guys on TH will be appreciated. =) Big Noobie =) or a jewb =(

the CPU is top notch, as for CPU cooler, go with the 212 evo if you plan to OC a little, go for a H100 liquid cooler if you plan on doing some decent OCing.

The Mobo looks great and with the two 770 you should be fine, but you might be better off going with the 780 single card for now and add a second one later on.

what I think you should add is a CPU cooler, a SSD drive to run apps faster, cut down the RAM to 8GB so you have some budget for those.

Crucial MX100 256GB 2.5" SSD >> $110
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/crucial-internal-hard-driv...

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO >>$30

or
Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $100

A waste of money is what that is. Keep the 16gb or ram if you need it, also that psu is not needed, Try an xfx 850w.
