Upside Down Power Supply Unit?

Sorry, there was a closed thread about this already but let me re-ask this question as it still puzzles me.

I have a (discontinued but good) NZXT Tempest 410 Elite case and will install a 750W Seasonic PSU in it. The location where the PSU is to be seated has a filtered vent. I therefore plan to install the PSU upside down so that the fan is directly atop this filtered vent.

What puzzles me is that the PSU fan blows air outward. Doesn't this then render the filter useless?

Beside the PSU is another vent meant for an optional fan but this one is unfiltered. Is this meant for a fan the blows out air from the case or to suck cool air into the case?

Hmmm...ok. Will observe later. I put my hand on the fan when I was testing it (shorting pins 4 and 3) and it felt like air was blowing out. Could be wrong. Thanks for the correction.

Will probably get a filter for that other vent then.
