Gadgets don't appear on boot. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del and end the sidebar process to make it work. How to fix?

The gadgets appear on half of my boots. I've found a consistent temporary fix, but it gets tiresome after a while. When the gadgets don't appear, I enter the task manager and end the 'sidebar.exe'. After that I right click the desktop, click on gadgets and they boot up.

Does anyone have a fix for this, so they always boot up with Windows?

Can you help walk me through the process?
