So I upgraded from an amd fx(im not sure the exact type) processor on a MSI 760GM P34(FX) motherboard with an Asus geforce GTX 760 graphics card to a

AMD FX 8350 processor on a ASUS M5A99$X Pro R2.0 with the same graphics card. And now I can't get a signal to my screen. And I can't get any bios sounds. Its a dual channel motherboard and I have my ram in the correct slots.

Please help.

Check your card is in the right pcie slot - at the top, nearest the cpu. Make sure it's locked into the pcie slot. Check that the power supply connectors are fitted properly to the graphics card.

Make sure all your drivers are working and up to date in Control Panel, Device Manager.

Make sure you've connected the graphics card to the monitor correctly.

If still not working, try another graphics card.

I tried all of that and same with a second older graphics card. Nothing. Still no signal. Is it a bad mobo?
