I use the ch products yoke because I got it for a great deal but for you I would get the Saitek yoke. Both cessnas and boeings are flown with yokes not sticks, unlike airbuses and cirruses.

Cessnas and Boeings use yokes. The only commercial planes that use a stick are airbuses for all I know. Flying a 747 with my x52 feels clonky. Hotas is more for jets, combat oriented games. For FSX I would say go with the yoke and pedals. A CH products yoke would be an excellent cheaper alternative to the saitek one but go with whichever you feel necessary.

You can't go wrong with the ch yoke, it may not be as fancy but it does the job just as well. In regards to speud, you are correct that airbuses are the only airlines that use sticks, although commercial planes can be smaller private jets, some which have sticks.
