AMD FX 8150 Processor showing 4 cores and 4 logical processors

So as the subjects states my AMD processor is only showing 4 logical processors as opposed to the 8 it has been detecting previously. As far as I can tell I haven't made any major changes to my set up and it seems like it happened after I remote desktopped into the computer earlier today (which I do very frequently).

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue?

So, after continued hand-to-hand combat I got it to see it as the full 8 logical processors again. What I did that seemed to fix it was go into the bios, disable automatic cpu control and enable the 1 processor per core option in the advanced options, restart the computer and then disable it again and turn back on the automatic cpu control. With any luck the problem will stay gone to wherever it managed to come from.
