I have a 2x6 pin GPU and my psu only has 1 6+2 PCI-E cable.
But the GPU comes with a 2xmolex to 6 pin adapter should i use the 6 pins from the PCI-E and the 6 pins from the molex.
Or 8 pins from the PCI-E and 4 pins from the molex adapter. iS it safe to only use 4 out of the 6 pins from the molex adpater.
Can i even use the molex adapter to power the GPU. And will the 4 pin molex go into the 3 pin adapter.

GPU - GPU

PSU - PSU

The CX-series aren't the best PSUs on the market for the money but they are still decent. 2x6-pins puts the GPU most likely in the sub-200W class, which leaves a generous 230W for everything else.

Unless you put something overkill in there, your real total is likely under 300W.

Need more info. What is the Model of the GPU, and PSU. Should be okay to do what the previous poster said but I just wanted to be sure the rails and amps are good with the PSU for that GPU.
