Hello, I've been having some trouble lately. I'm trying to get a setup the consists of two monitors with an extended desktop, which I've had for a while now and works great (one with HDMI and the other with DVI).
The problem arrived when I wished and tryed to connect a TV using a mini-DP (my amd hd 7970 only had 2xminiDP left) to HDMI to my onkyo sound system and from that, an HDMI to the TV.
When I connect the TV, the win7 screen resolution manager recognizes my TV as my sound system and won't let me use it as a screen at all. Now, what I really wanted to do, is to mirror my primary monitor on the TV.
I found out that when I unplug the second monitor, the TV works. It can be an extended desktop or mirror the primary monitor (which causes my taskbar ONLY on the monitor ONLY to flicker like crazy, which is another issue I'd like to fix). But when I plug my second monitor back in, my TV goes blank again and is again unrecognizable by my computer. I tryed creating a screen group on EyeFinity, but it won't recognize my TV as a screen either, when all of them are plugged.
I also use DisplayFusion to manage my screens, and that hasn't helped me solve this either.
So I come to you in dispair, what am missing here?
