Hello all,

Bought a new Psu and a new motherboard
(old ones didnt work anymore and yes im on a tight budget !)

And the system freezes up sometimes (3 to 6 times a day)
Its random 1 time i play a game for a few hours no problem the other i just booted up

On the 3rd day windows starded showing bluescreens with the 101 error (UPDATE:0x00000101)

Now i did some googling and found that it may be my CPU and im thinking its a power / voltage issue

Somebody recommanded to up my vcore voltage a bit to stabilise my system (think i read it here somewhere)

But i have no overclocking experiance what so ever so im hoping you guys can help me out.

Is this a smart move (or just plain stupid and will break everything)?
And is it in fact a option / solution for my problem ?

Or do you think it something else

here are some screens with some info about my Motherboard / CPU / Temps.

HWMonitor

CPU-Z

All the help and advice is welcome

I find HWInfo - Sensors better - more info eg psu voltages. Can you post Sensoprs readout - 3 screesnhots on TinyPic or simular.

Post your build.

Blow out your case - especially fans, filters and coolers.

Jack up your fan rpms.

Run Checkdisk and a virus scan.

Update all your drivers that aren't up to date in Device Manager.

101 error is to do with chrome. More detail please.

HWInfo
(small screen so i cut it up into 2 screens)
HWInfo 1
HWInfo 2

Blow out your case = Everything is clean
Update all your drivers that aren't up to date in Device Manager = Its a fresh win 7 64 ultimate with all the propper drivers (dont have all the windows updates (yet got 40 left to go)

101 error is to do with chrome. More detail please.
What do you mean do with Chrome ?
And with 101 im talking about the bluescreen 0x00000101

And how can i provide more details

Thanks for looking into it

You got a referenced file eg dxgmms1.sys - to go with 0x00000101?

You only got 4gb ram?

Post your build.

cpu - sitting on 1.25V, 2.3GHz and 24-29C

psu - no readings. Can you provide readings from bios/uefi for 12v, 5v and 3.3v?

Your gpu memory clock seems to be all over the place. Try another card. Try your card in another pc

Sorry i have no clue what you mean with this. (or how to provide or do you mean the mini dump ?)

You only got 4gb ram?
Yes i do .....

Psu
vcore 1.200v
12v 12.144v
5v 5.160v
3.3v 3.360v

Will do a switch to the onboard gpu

But i read that the bluescreen can be a result off a low vcore voltage (or at least it can be resolved by setting it up higher)
But i have no clue how to do this and what to look for.

My bios is a complete mess with many options to overclock almost everything and i have never done that before

At the moment everything is on auto execpt my RAM speed and voltage at the stock rate / v and have turned off the RAM low power option.

I have no clue if i can leave it on Auto or do i have to set everything manualy so my Gpu / CPU / Ram acts like it is suppose to do?
