MSI GTX 295 896mb X2 for skyrim? Or vs HD4000?

I can get this card very cheaply from a friend, and I'm looking to put it in my inspiron 660, i5-3330.

What sort of fps could I expect to see from skyrim on medium settings?

Talking about this card btw

Yes, no way the crappy 300W PSU in the inspiron 660 will handle the GTX 295... OP better get the GTX 750...

Well I can't find any direct benchmark of the GTX295 of Skyrim , but there is a benchmark with GTX260 which has the same amount of VRAM as the 295 and it scores 31.6 fps on 1080p ultra settings:
https://www.google.co.il/search?q=skyrim+benchmark+%22gtx+295%22&tbm=isch&ei=UrG7U4j9N4OV7AagwIHICA#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=S4rgm9nWpfnWPM%253A%3B7M_-eqoXYWbYxM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fcdn.overclock.net%252Ff%252Ff4%252Ff4e97626_TES-V-Skyrim-Grafikkarten-Benchmarks-1920.png%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.overclock.net%252Ft%252F1238932%252Fgtx-what%252F20%3B650%3B689

The GTX 295 has the performance of a GTX570 though, and the 570 gets 55.5 on that benchmark, so the 295 should do better than 55fps on medium settings.

The HD4000 scores only 33.4 fps on medium settings at 1050p:
https://www.google.co.il/search?q=skyrim+hd+4000&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=fbK7U5nyCMz74QTuzoDgBg&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=1440&bih=805#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=LV_i2P8xlH-lyM%253A%3BiukpAh6-y513yM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fimages.anandtech.com%252Fgraphs%252Fgraph5626%252F44733.png%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.anandtech.com%252Fshow%252F5626%252Fivy-bridge-preview-core-i7-3770k%252F15%3B550%3B420

So the GTX 295 will do much better than the HD4000 at medium settings, but the 295 is a power hog so check that your PSU is up to it.

He said he could get it cheaply. So let's consider that. BUT, (Big but hehe) that card guzzles power. It will probably cost more in the long term than a gtx 750 or R7-260x. I would go with the newer cards
