Can i somehow install backplate on this card? im a little sceptic couse the DirectPower on the PCB
the backplate serves like a heatprotector if im right? couse i have a AirCooled CPU and i reduced the heat by 3c by some tweaking but i incresed for the same 3c on the GPU so i moved 2 steps forward and 2 steps back in the same time and its anoying im waiting for one more fan to push the air from case better untill then i want to know for what GPU Backplate serves for?

I would make my own, but it depends on if it is really needed, for you you actually don't. Could you link up a photo so we can get a clear image of what your planing to put where?dude like you knew i was just taking pictures of PC haha nice ill send it now

i was planing in between gpu and cpu to put a aluminium sheet i was going to tied it up on bellow the exhaust fan from the cpu with heavy duty rubber band than to secure it with something ill figure it out with what through holes for water cooling tubes i dont want to make any contact with GPU just to make a separate department for air not to go on GPU do you get me what i want to do? couse i dont know if i make any sense im not from America or UK hope i spell everything right

you could do it but you don't need to, your choice. It isn't really worth it, only if you want to do it, do it.tomorow in the morning ill fit in one more fan in front of the case AF fan CM SickleFlow 120mm then ill see if the temps dont drop ill try something else i will not make a backplate

I bought one of those just the other day, really well but you can;t turn fans completely off. The LED button is for Bitfenix LED Fans ONLY. The Colour is also grey, not black. Just some things to consider, but a great controller. PS I unselected the answer just because it was accidental.
well ok i dont need to turn fans off just to lower RPM or to make them higher just want that LCD on the case its very sexy i think that will be great for CoolerMaster HAF 912+ case

It's quite hard for first timers but it is considered an easy cooler to install. The dual Fanned monsters like mine (NH-D14) are quite difficult at times to install.

also worked with that case and also installed that controller in it, a very good combination indeed. (Fan controllers look best up the top**)

yes i have to agree with you and that BIG cooler but i didnt think and firstly installed the MOBO in case then applied the CPU HeatSink i should have done that when the MOBO was out

yes, installing the cooler outside the case is much easier.ok so i did what i told i will to this is the result and looks

This is what i did i placed a 120mm fan which is connected to 5V behind 200mm stock from CM HAF 912+

So that is it what do you say about new cable managment? i did it a lot better then last time
this are the result of cooling

i played Crysis 3 for 20min and those are the temps outside was 27c inside was hot to but i dont have acurate temps from the inside i think that this is pretty good result from 71c to 68c and it is only on 5V last time it was 66c or less but it was kinda to loud couse its to close to me

I am myself buying a GTX 760 in a few days on an Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 Motherboard. I was curious as if I need to buy a backplate for it? I had never heard of that before. This is the exact GTX 760 I plan on buying.

Just a simple question, since i read this thread I'm scared of bending my 760. lol

No i didnt need it as i said i was wondering if i needed it couse the temps long cards need plate's not small ones ASUS GTX770 comes with installed backplate from the factory couse its a big card i think that all big cards have backplate from the factory (major brands at least) you dont need it for 760
