Does Nvidia 3D vision work on AMD video cards?

Hi there, i have a R9 295X2 GPU. And i want to get Asus ROG Swift PG278Q. PG278Q support the 3D Vision. But my GPU is AMD. Can i play 3D game on this monitor? What can i do for playing 3D games on this monitor?

maybe it can be done. but the monitor was made to work with nvidia 3d vision. and both nvidia and AMD have their own way implementing their stereoscopic 3D. so even if they work with your AMD gpu it might not going to work as good as with nvidia GPU
