Well I need help.... Please. I bought a new case, cpu and power supply and transplanted my stuff into the new case today. Now my pc will turn off seconds after I hit the power button. I've gone through all the things I can think of and am now at the bread board level. If I switch the switch on my MB to the single bios option the motherboard will stay powered up but I am unable to see any image on my screen. I tried the MB video outputs and gpu outputs. Here's my specs.

i7 4970k
H110i
Udh3 gigabyte z87x mb
860i corsair ax power supply
4x4gb Kingston hyper x ram
120gb Samsung SSD 540 series
1Tb Wd blue hard drive
Bitfenix Recon fan controller
5x corsair sp120 high perf. Fans
Corsair 140 silent fan
560 air carbide corsair case
2x Asus 247h-p led monitor

Please help. Thank you thank you thank you

My guess is maybe you need a bios update. But I don't know if you've already done this or looked into it at all.

I do not believe it's the ram as it stayed in the motherboard through the move. I did however remove all but one stick just for the heck of it and try it in all the slots. Still no luck.

I've done everything in the list except the speaker. I guess I'm going to have to pick one up. I was hoping someone could tell me why the pc will at least stay powered on when I boot it in single bios mode. I've also updated my specs

This is probably the issue. I switched it out for my I5 4670k. I haven't even booted with the 4790k yet. I read a post with another guy who made the same switch and it came right up.

When I asked - Did you have to do a bios update to run the i7 4790k off the Z87 mobo?

So again - Is the bios compatible in your Z87 mono with the i7 4790k or do you have to update the bios?

Ok, with my i5 the computer is no longer going into the reboot cycle. However, I'm unable to see any video from the on board graphics and it says power down and connect pci-e cables to graphics card when i try gpu.

Ok updated the bios and it works. For anyone that's interested you have to download the gigabyte app center and the @bios to flash it. Switched cables and my gpu works too. Thanks for the help.
