i7-2600k - 10 degree difference between coolest and hottest core

Hi, I recently got an i7-2600k that I've overclocked to 4.4 Ghz and there always seems to be a difference in temperature between the coolest and hottest core of up to 10 degrees (I've actually seen an 11-degree difference during an intel burn test). Also, it seems that this difference in temperature is slightly lower when the cpu is idle, although it's still there (maybe around 6 degrees).

I re-applied the thermal paste hoping to fix it but it made no difference. Is this normal?
