No Audio Output Device is Installed (win8.1)

Well I installed windows 8.1 and it doesn't have I think any audio drivers. Please help, my pc is still fresh from the start. Pretty much like brand new. Tell me what to install please to make my speakers work.

Do you know what kind of audio components you have? Is it a pre-built system? Have you run windows update to see if the drivers get picked up automatically? You might try going into the control panel and then the device manager and see if there are any devices with a big ! next to them. If so, try double clicking on that item and then go to the drivers tab and select automatic update to see if maybe they update automatically. If not, you'll need to figure out what kind of card or onboard audio you have and then download the appropriate drivers and install them.
