Greetings everyone.

Sorry if this was posted in some form before but i couldn't find it on google for a similar rig.

I'm going to build my new rig soon and the only thing im stuck with is the psu.(And the CPU cooler)
Here is the part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Vrr7GX

I was thinking about either the Seasonic SSR-650RM or the Corsair RM650.
(Other suggestions in this price range are welcome)

The price difference is 35$ in my country.
Is the Seasonic worth the extra money?

I can't take advantage of newegg and amazon sales because i am not from the USA

Also one off-topic question:Which CPU cooler would you recommend? Be quiet Dark rock 3 or LEPA lv12?

More about : seasonic psu worth extra money

The SeaSonic is worth the extra money; it's a highly reliable brand.

Go with an XFX unit like this one. http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=59616 The XFX units are manufactured by Seasonic, so they are a great value. Usually the XFX units are priced much cheaper than the actual Seasonic labled power supplies.

The Seasonic is worth the extra, if you're using it for 3 years that's less than a dollar a month difference.

Oh and Dark rock 3 :D

Will it be as good as the 80+ gold ones when overclocking?

a quality PSU is always a worthwhile investment. Imagine if you skimp out and by a cheap one and it blows up and shorts..you run the risk of damaging/ruining some/all of your components and then you're out hundreds of dollars. Seasonic is a great brand and their are other house brands that use seasonic parts and just rebrand them.

this website has a lot of good info on PSU's

I must thank everyone for their suggestions.I will go with either the Seasonic or the XFX unit, depending on my how much money i can save up in the upcoming weeks.Sadly i can only pick one solution but thanks for the suggestions.
