I'm in the process of ordering the parts to build a computer that will primarily be used as a workstation. Coding and programming are going to be the main focus but i plan on running lots of unique software on it and want it to be able to run all of it flawlessly and efficiently. I don't plan on doing a lot of gaming on it at all, but if it could run a few like Starcraft 2 and stuff that would be a plus.

I've never built one before but my friend is helping me and he is very experienced so that won't be an issue assembling it. I want to keep it under $1,000 and ideally in the $800-$900 range.

This is the list someone else has suggested to me and i want some feedback as i am still learning about this stuff and im not sure if this build will meet my needs.

Thanks!

Alright awesome thanks I'll check the list out. Down the line if i wanted to upgrade the computer at all can i just swap out parts for newer ones? Like say I wanted a faster CPU for example, can you just swap out the parts?

Thanks

Well i mean for any part in general. If you wanted to upgrade change a particular part is it as simple as taking it out and putting the new one in? I'm fairly new to the process and my friend is going to teach me a little but I'm trying to get a grasp on how the process works 100%

Thanks
