My GPU fan is broken, so i've ordered a new fan, Gelid ICY VISION A, but the problem is that it comes with 4 pin GPU fan connectors and my GPU has 3 pin plug, what should i do?

I didn't find any 4-pin mini GPU fan connectors to 3-pin mini.

I have HD 7970 Windforce edition from Gigabyte.

you could always hook it up to a fan controller i had the same problem with mine ati card just bypass the fan controller on the card you just need to stress test it to make sure the fan speed is adequate when its under load

It looks to me like it comes with an adapter that has a 3 pin connection as well as a 4 pin molex. The 3 pin should work on your card.

Yeah but instead of doing it manually, there is no way to connect it to the GPU pcb plug? i rather let the gpu play with the fan speeds instead of doing it by myself each time...

There is no 3-pin mini connectors to 4 pin mini?

No, to me it looks like there is an adapter that connects the 4 pin mini cable to either a 3 pin mini or 4 pin molex. Maximize this picture and look at the adapter. The white plug will connect to the connector coming out of the fan. The small black one should be a 3 pin for your card's motherboard(the one you want). The large black one is for a 4 pin molex.

What do you mean "get worse"?

The fan has the connector you need for your video card.
