best ram for intel dh67cl

Hi, I have intel dh67cl motherboard with 2x 4gb of kingston kvr1333d3n9k2/4g ram memory, but I need more. I want to have 8 gb of ram. Can you help my to choose best ram for my pc and how to know which ram will be compatible ?

Any RAM will work on this mobo. Pl bear in mind that maximum speed accepted by this mobo is 1333MHz. Any RAM with speed above this 1333MHz will operate at 1333MHz.


Buy any ram having 240 pin DIMM, with 1.5volt, 1333MHz speed and CAS of 8 or below.

That is tricky area. Normally, it is not recommended due to compatibility issues. It is always recommended to use the same RAM or RAM kits because these kits are guaranteed by the manufacturers that RAMs in the kit will work together without any issue.

Better get the same RAMs as you already have. Old + New may or may not work. Can't say with certainty.

my old memory cas is 9, why you said that I have to buy memory with cas 8 or bellow ?
