I have an ASUS MAXIMUX VI HERO for my mobo and an i7 4770k and I was going to get a graphite 230t but then someone said I should get a mid atx case so I don't know whether to get a 300r,400r or 500r.
I was going to get a 500r but it calls it "Corsair Carbide 500R microATX Midi PC Tower Black"
Is this a mid tower?
My mobo isn't micro atx its atx.
I don't know if I sound stupid here but why is microATX included there?
Is it a mid tower case?
Is this a good choice of a case if I was to get it or are there better alternatives?
Thank you for reading.

The 500R case supports Micro-ITX, Micro-ATX, and ATX motherboards.

Because the 500r case supports more than one size of motherboard as above (as do most midi & full towers), that's what is probably confusing you. As long as your motherboard's form-factor is mentioned as supported, don't worry about the other board sizes it mentions.

My case is a large tower but I put a small mini-ATX board in it to avoid everything being cramped inside which isn't helpful for keeping things cool. It will take an ATX board should i decide to change it, so no need to buy a new case unless I get bored with it.
