Help i cant find my bios settings for boot up from cd

Hi om ruben and it sees that i cant boot from a cd, i have a pakard bell pc model te11hc, and my boot setting are currently

boot mode: uefi
1 atapi cdrom
2usb CDROM
3 hdd
4usb fdd
5 network boot-ipv4
6 USB hdd
7 network boot-ipv6

Is that right settings for boot up from cd??

Hi

That boot order looks correct

But you have not said what operating system on hard drive ?
What operating on cd (or DVD) ?

If you have any error messages please give them

If Uefi bios set to only boot from windows 8 or later
Signed operating system (includes recent Linux by red hat & others )
Booting windows 7 or earlier will be blocked until Uefi bios setting changed

Btw i forgatt to tell that i had Windows 8 before but then i down graded it to Windows 7

Under windows 7 can you read both cd's and dvd's in your DVD drive?

You said can not boot up Linux cd

Broken drive may read DVD but not cd or vica versa

Has booting Linux cd been tested in another PC ?
